It’s been a month since we started fostering Ralph and added a second dog to our home. Having a second dog has changed the dynamic of our family a bit. We’ve had to up our number of walks each day, we are going through food and treats a lot faster, and now we have to squeeze two humans and two dogs in a queen size bed.
But one of the biggest changes is how much all the dog toys get played with and how much fluff is distributed around our apartment. Luna likes toys on her own, but really only to rip the fluff out in the first 5 minutes she has them. With Ralph here now, the toys get tossed, tugged, and hidden in every part of our apartment.
And of course, because Luna has already chewed holes in many of the toys all of their stuffing comes spilling out of them.
It may mean a bit more clean up work, but it’s also highly entertaining to watch. Because of our Vimtag Indoor Camera, I get to watch the ridiculousness unfold even when I’m away for work.
While I’m at work I use my computer to login and watch the live action unfold. It’s very easy to use – you just log in, select the camera (if you have more than one), and use the controls to move the camera up and down or right to left.
I use the snapshot feature to record the interesting moments that happen while I’m away. Like when Ralph decided to climb Chair Mountain and look at what is happening outside the window.
When I’m on the go, I’m also able to use the Vimtag app on my phone to see what the pups are up to. The snapshot feature also works great in the app, though it is a bit harder to save a video recording.
