When I first brought Ralph to our apartment, I was worried how Luna and him would get along. Luckily the two of them hit off pretty quickly. Despite having a few snow days to work from home and supervise them, I was still worried about what might happen when I had to return to work. Thankfully we still had our spy cameras, including our Vimtag Indoor Camera, set up so that my boyfriend and I could still keep an eye on Ralph and Luna to make sure they don’t get into too much trouble while we are away.

We actually have 3 cameras set up in our apartment, so we are able to see what the dogs are up to in different rooms. I’ll let you in on a secret – only one of our cameras is from Vimtag. The other two I bought several years ago when I first adopted Luna. But, boy do I wish they were all Vimtag cameras!

We actually ended up replacing our primary camera (which has the best view of the living room) with the new Vimtag VT-361 HD Indoor Camera and moving the older one somewhere else. I’m glad we did because the Vimtag camera is much better and easier to use.

So what do I love about it?

First, the resolution of the camera is so much better! You can view the live video feed in HD 720p, which makes the image large and clearer.

Second, the website and phone app are super handy and easy to use. I was surprised by the mobile app because it is even better than the website. Both allow you to watch the live feed, remotely rotate the camera, take snapshots, and control other settings like camera mode or video quality.

The only downside of the camera is that you can only record video if you have a micro SD card in the camera, which is an additional cost. I haven’t picked up an SD card yet, but will be trying the recording functionality in the coming weeks!

The live feed video is great and gives me insight into what Luna and Ralph do when home alone. They’re typical schedule looks like this: Step 1 – Sleep all day.

But, every once in a while they do switch up their napping positions, play with each other, distribute toys EVERYWHERE, and get into a little trouble. When they do get into trouble, it can be a little stressful because you “know” and have to figure out how to handle the situation. But then again, that is the price you pay for spying on some wild and crazy dogs.

I absolutely love the snapshot feature. It lets me capture photos of some of the ridiculous (and mischievous) things Luna and Ralph do while I’m away.

So here’s a peek at what Luna and Ralph did this week.

Just don’t judge my apartment or that large pile of dog toys in the corner.

Look at all this trouble making happening! Don’t worry they didn’t eat that couch cushion, even though I thought they might.
