We are starting to get into the spirit of fall and that means colorful leaves, lots of pumpkins, and Luna needs a new costume for Halloween! She is taking some time to think about her costume options as well as ponder the difference between a squash and a gourd.

The main difference? Pumpkins and other squash are good for eating and can even be beneficial. Decorative gourds, while not innately toxic to dogs, may come treated with shellac or other products that could lead to an upset stomach.

Luna hangs out with pumpkins and gets ready for fall!

Come back tomorrow to help Luna decide what she should be for Halloween!
