Well we made it. The end of 2015 is here as is the end of the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge. I may have been late a few weeks, but I think I got all 52 photos up! Help us review 2015 by taking a look at all our 52 Snapshot posts from this year.
Luna is currently working on her New Year’s Resolutions and we hope to share them tomorrow. She had trouble sticking to the resolutions she came up with last year, so she’ll need your support to become her best self.
We had a great Christmas where Luna and I went to my parents’ house and visited with my mom, dad, and sister. Cousin Keto was also there and together Luna and him caused plenty of ruckus!
It was a bit odd this year because it was the first year we didn’t have my grandparents’ house to “go home” to in Missouri. Although we don’t own the house anymore and my grandparents are no longer with us, I still think of it as both crazy and peaceful. Try squeezing 16 people into one beautiful house and you’ll see what I mean.
The other thing that made this Christmas a bit different was the fact that it was so darn hot! I had to wear my only Christmas t-shirt and a pair of shorts on Christmas Eve. We don’t normally have a white Christmas in Virginia, but it’s definitely not usually in the 70s! It wouldn’t have been such a big deal except that it wasn’t just warm. It was also rainy, which meant we couldn’t even go outside and play.
I personally can’t wait for winter to truly come. I’m excited for snow, snow days, and all those wonderful things that come with it like hot chocolate, snowmen, and sweaters. I think part of it is that there is nothing more fun than making a snow angel.
But, there is also something so calm and peaceful when snow is falling late at night or when you first wake up to a big snowfall. I really hope we see a bunch of snow in 2016!
