The other day I excitedly posted on Facebook about my upcoming trip to Orlando, FL next week to attend the Global Pet Expo. At the time it didn’t even occur to me that not everyone knows what the Global Pet Expo is!
Then I thought about it and realized that I didn’t even know what the Global Pet Expo was before two years ago when I first started blogging. And I had no idea how big and exciting the event is until I went there first hand last year to cover it.
So what is the Global Pet Expo?
The Global Pet Expo is the world’s largest annual trade show in the pet industry. The expo features tons of new and exciting pet products available on the market today.
The show floor is so big that nearly 13 football fields could fit inside. It is also said if you walk the show floor and visit every booth in order you will travel over 3 miles! According to Global Pet Expo’s website, last year’s show featured 985 exhibitors, 2,896 booths, and over 3,000 new product launches.
The primary goal of the Global Pet Expo is to connect pet brands with potential buyers. This is one of the ways your favorite local pet stores and online shops find new products to sell.
This year’s show will take place in Orlando, FL at the Orange County Convention Center from Wednesday March 4, 2015 to Friday, March 6, 2015.
Why am I attending the Global Pet Expo?
Unfortunately because of it’s purpose the Global Pet Expo is not opened to the general public. Only qualified pet brands and buyers are invited to attend. Fortunately some members of the press, like myself, are also welcomed!
I will be attending the show for my second year next week to learn about the newest and most innovative pet products that are hitting the market. I am excited to be able to share this news with you before you can get it anywhere else!

What pet products are you most interested in learning about?
The Global Pet Expo has everything from treats to toys to clothes to things you wouldn’t even imagine! The products featured are some of the most innovative out there, so if you have encountered any kind of problem this may be just the place to find the perfect solution.
