This past weekend the Super Pet Expo was held in Chantilly, Virginia at the Dulles Expo Center. It was our third year attending the event and Luna certainly was excited. The Super Pet Expo is an excellent place for dogs to get free treats for looking just too darn cute.
One of my favorite things about the Super Pet Expo is the opportunity to learn about and meet people from various local veterinarian offices, including emergency services. It is always a great idea to know who to call and where to go in case of an emergency.
The Super Pet Expo also showcases many adoptable pets and their rescues. If you are looking to add a new furry family member, then this is a great place to start!
And of course, there were plenty of fun pet brands and pet stores represented. Some were even giving away free samples! It was nice to see big trends in the pet industry coming close to home like natural flea and tick care and home made dog treats.
Luna even tried to hitch a ride in a Subaru. She just couldn’t convince the salesman to accept dog bones as payment.
The Super Pet Expo also features various animal acts including a magical monkey named Django and the Monkey Man! There were also places for dogs to strut their stuff like during an agility lesson or at the Puppy Playground.
We are certainly looking forward to next year’s event!
