Uncle Ulrick’s was launched earlier this year by PAW (Pet Adventures Worldwide), who is also behind one of my favorite brands – Alcott (Visit our Alcott giveaway here). Uncle Ulrick’s was started to put American sourced and manufactured jerky snacks and treats for dogs on the market. Each product is made in a certified USDA approved facility in Ohio.
All of Uncle Ulrick’s jerky treats for dogs are made with the same high quality ingredients and preparation methods that you would expect for human food. They contain the freshest American chicken breast, choice cut American beef, and American grown sweet potatoes. And, of course there are no fillers, by-products, or anything else artificial and yucky, so you know your pup is going to get the finest jerky treat available!
Uncle Ulrick’s Beef Jerky is made from choice cuts of American beef that are always fresh and never frozen! In fact, each jerky treat only contains two ingredients – Choice Cut American Beef and Food Grade American Vegetable Glycerin – so that means NO grain, soy, wheat, fillers, by-products, artificial flavors or colors, or anything else you don’t want to see in a treat you give to your dog.
I love how open and honest Uncle Ulrick’s is about their process and ingredients. Right now the Uncle Ulrick’s FAQ page features answers to questions about Vegetable Glycerin and concerns about Chicken Jerky in the USA. These are two questions that are often on my mind when trying a new treat with Luna, so I’m thrilled to see them talking about the answers right out of the gate.
The beef jerky is currently available in three different size boxes – 3.5 oz, 7 oz, and 12 oz, which cost $11.99, $22.99, and $35.99 respectively. Each 7 oz box is made from 1 lb of fresh beef and each 12 oz box is made from 1.75 lbs!
