Spring Naturals makes a line of dog treats in both Whole Grain and Grain Free options that feature real meat with fruits and berries. On of my favorite things about Spring Naturals is that I can recognize the ingredients and feel good about giving them to Luna. Both the whole grain and grain free dog treat options are free of wheat, gluten, corn, soy, by-products, and artificial ingredients and of course, the grain free options are rid of all grains. Both varieties come in four different flavors: Turkey, Beef, Chicken & Lamb, and Turkey & Salmon.
Luna had the pleasure of trying out the Whole Grain Turkey Treats and gobbled her first one up in seconds. After devouring the treat she spent a few minutes searching for any remaining crumbs. These treats have a very unique scent of meat and fruits, which I kind of like since it is so different from typical dog treat smells. The scent drew Luna to them as soon as I opened the bag. The treats seemed to be a combination of crunchy and chewy (but then again I couldn’t tell you first hand) and are pretty easy to tear into smaller pieces for training or just smaller dogs.
