If there is anything I’ve learned after living with Luna for 4 years, it’s that she feels entitled to anything she deems delicious. Though never aggressive, she tends to voice she feels about any tasty treat that is left uneaten. If I could ask her, I’m sure she’d say the worst part of being a working dog model is that you can’t eat all the treats right away.
Today, I had to lock up a box of goodies we recently received from Jones Natural Chews in one of our bathrooms. You see the box had actually been sitting unopened for a few weeks pending photographs and review, but it was all sealed up so she didn’t realize it was here. And then today she not only had to pose with these delicious chews, but I also opened up the individual packages so she could get a taste. And now I can only assume our apartment is full of smells that would drive any food hound nuts.
So now I can’t go to the bathroom without her making sure I know that she knows those treats are in there. And I guess that’s why they say that Jones knows how to make dogs smile! But, I think my absolute favorite Holiday offering that Jones Natural Chews has is the Holiday Box. Packed inside this festive red box is a USA all-natural Dino Bone. A dino bone?! Okay, it is actually a beef bone, generally a front leg that reaches between 12″ – 14″ long. So it’s a really BIG bone.
The Holiday Box is a great gift for medium to large dogs who love to chew. Or, small dogs who like to think that they can handle that much bone. I’m pretty sure Luna could take on the whole bone by herself in one sitting, but for now she’ll have to settle sharing with Ralph over multiple chew sessions. This thing really is big enough for both of them to enjoy it at the same time! Though, I wouldn’t recommend that unless you know your dogs eat well together. No one wants any fights on Christmas!
I personally bring a few chews with me for the holidays every year. They are a great way to keep your dogs occupied during meals, while you’re opening presents, or when you just want some peace and quiet. Plus, if I get to enjoy a special meal for Christmas, it’s only fair that my dogs do too. Just make sure you bring enough for all the dogs to enjoy something!
