One of my favorite holiday traditions is to bake and decorate Christmas cookies with my mom. We make all kinds of cookies – gingerbread, chocolate chip, sugar, and something called Mexican teacake. Every year we always make way more cookies than we can eat, but we do our best at finishing them off because they are special treats we only get once a year.

Luna made it a bit challenging to get photos of because she just wanted to gobble up the whole bag.
Since she can be a bit of a food hound, it can sometimes be hard to judge if she truly LOVES a treat or if she just likes it. So that’s when Ralph comes in and boy did he get so excited about this super fancy jerky.
Maybe Ralph just loves Full Moon treats because they are the first ones we ever gave him. Back in January, we still had some Full Moon Chicken Nuggets left from last year’s Stocking Stuffer Giveaways, so we brought them along when we picked up Ralph to foster. He was quite scared and needed a little convincing to trust us, so on the way home I fed him a bunch of the chicken nuggets. After probably way to many, he started to warm up and see that we were just there to help him.
So while I think the taste of a delicious piece of Full Moon Chicken Jerky brought back a flood of memories for Ralph about when he fell in love with me, he was probably just like “FOODS! YUM!” when he got a taste of his new fancy treats.
