Stocking Stuffers Day 3 Dog Lover Movies

Over the Thanksgiving weekend I went to see Frozen in theaters with my mom and sister. The movie was lovely and I highly recommend it.

I don’t watch movies often, especially not in theaters. This trip was even more meaningful than just a rare movie going experience because it brought me back to the same movie theater I had my first part time job at. The same theater where I worked at for nearly five years up to the ranks of management before I was 18. I saw the theater switch from a small company to become part of a movie theater giant. I made friends and learned about what it means to be responsible and an adult. I also watched a lot of movies. A lot. For free.

Free movies were glorious. I think I saw more movies in those five years than the other 18 years of my life.

It also kind of ruined things. How can one go from seeing free movies all the time to paying $12 for one show? TWELVE DOLLARS?? Don’t get me started on the IMAX and 3D surcharges.

The answer is simple. You can’t. Which is why today’s giveaway is particularly awesome.

In my Black Friday deal hunting quest, I came across a collection of 20 movies for dog lovers for less than the price of one movie in theaters! What a perfect stocking suffer. Twenty movies for the price of one.

It may or may not be important to note that we didn’t actually pay $12 to see the movie. Fortunately movies are discounted to $6 before noon, so we woke up at the crack of dawn and packed into a theater full of eager children.
