Today is a lucky day, my friends. It’s Stocking Stuffer Giveaway Day 7 and lucky number 7 means that today we have not one, but TWO sponsors. Today both Barkworthies and The Company of Animals have agreed to provide one pawesome prize!
Barkworthies Elk Antler Chews
The Elk Antler Chews from Barkworthies are all natural and are hand collected from the wild. They are one of the most durable chews available out there for dogs! Plus, they are naturally odor free, which we all know so many long lasting chews aren’t! They definitely aren’t as messy as some of those other chews either.
These chews also have an extra hard texture that naturally scrapes away plaque and tartar while dogs chew on them. They come in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and cuts so that dogs of all sizes can enjoy them. These chews also make a great option for teething pups!
Luna hadn’t ever had an Antler Chew until we received one from Barkworthies. I wasn’t sure how she would take to it since I had heard mix reviews. Some dogs love them and others aren’t interested at all. Luna loves to chew, so I had hope!
I gave Luna the her first Antler and at first she sniffed it and pawed at it. Then she started trying to chew it. After a few seconds, she would stop and look at it, then attack again! After the first few minutes, she got the hang of it and chewed until she accidentally pushed it under the coffee table where it stayed until she was ready to chew some more.
In addition to Antler Chews, Barkworthies also offers a wide variety of natural chews for dogs. If you want to learn more about Barkworthies, be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter and check out Barkworthies.com!
The Company of Animals BUSTER DogMaze
When you have a dog that eats as fast as mine, you are constantly looking for ways to slow her down. One way I do this is by using interactive feeders like the BUSTER DogMaze from The Company of Animals.
The fun maze pattern makes eating a bit more of a challenge and so it takes longer. Dogs can use their paws, noses, tongues, or whatever means necessary to push pieces of kibble or treats through the maze pattern to the exit, so they can eat them up. You can make it more challenging my putting the food pieces closer to the center or make it easier and spread them out.
I love using interactive feeders with Luna because it also engages her brain A LOT more than if she were to just eat out of a bowl. This is super important especially during winter months where I’m away at work for most of the day and it’s too dark and cold to play outside. While using the DogMaze, Luna gets some activity in while enjoying her delicious dinner!
In addition to the BUSTER DogMaze, The Company of Animals has tons of other fun interactive dog puzzles and feeders, which we highly recommend! If you want to learn more about The Company of Animals, be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter and check out CompanyofAnimals.com!
