Now to the fun part! Today’s Stocking Stuffer Giveaway features Alcott! I fell in love with Alcott after stumbling across their booth the the Global Pet Expo this past March.
I was first drawn to Alcott‘s booth by all the brightly colored collars and leashes. Now months later, those very collars and leashes are my favorite to use, which is why you can see Luna’s bright green collar in almost all of our photos and why we are giving away a set today!
What makes these collars and leashes so special? In addition to their vibrant and assorted color options, they are also reflective. The reflective accents make both the collar and leash very visible in the dark, which is perfect for evening or late night walks. It is also reassuring to know that if for any reason Luna got loose, she would be more visible at night with her Alcott collar on.
The collars and leashes are made of nylon with neoprene padding for extra comfort. The leash features the padding on the handle, while the collar has the padding all the way around. Leashes and collars come in three different sizes and nine different colors. Collars are available for $11.99 (S), $11.99 (M), or $13.99 (L) and leashes for $16.99 (S), $17.99 (M), or $19.99 (L).
The great thing about Alcott though is that they don’t do just leashes and collars. We already love Alcott’s Sleeping Bag, so I knew we would love the Adventure Jacket as well!
The Adventure Jacket is waterproof, wind-resistant, and even machine washable. It comes in green/black and looks really sleek. What I love the most is that the jacket has a piece that covers Luna’s belly too! Most jackets we have tried before leave that bare and susceptible to getting wet and cold.
Since this jacket has elastic bands that wrap around the dog’s hind legs, I was a bit concerned about how Luna would take to it and if she could still move normally. During Thanksgiving, I put it on her and let her run around outside in my parents’ backyard. She had no problems moving at all! In fact, now that she was warm and dry she didn’t want to come inside at all.
