1. Go to RUHA’s Project Builder
2. Select your dog’s collar size – options for dog’s size 8″ to 27″!
3. Choose a color for the collar from Vintage White, Red, or Tan
4. Pick your favorite design from five different options
5: Add your dog’s name and your contact information (optional)
During the ordering process, you can even see a representation of what your collar will look like to better visualize it. The final placement will of course be optimized by RUHA.
The cost of a RUHA dog collar is very reasonable for a high quality leather product. They range from $28-36 depending on size.
The leather dog collars are personalized by laser engraving. Not only are they are personalized with your dog’s name, but also with a bit of his or her personality. Cousin Keto is always dressed in his tux and is known to prance about so the Art Deco design was perfect for him. Luna is never afraid to get into a little trouble, so I thought the Western design was her match!
In addition to your dog’s name, you can also include your contact information. I decided against this option because we might be moving in the near future and I wanted the collar to still be relevant. Even so, I think the collar adds a bit of extra safety.
Dog tags are great, but they are only helpful if they actually stay on the collar. More than once Luna’s tags have fallen off her collar because they have gotten stuck on something or just normal wear and tear. The personalized RUHA leather dog collars will be more identifiable if Luna ever got lost. Her collar would tell her rescuers her name right away and would hopefully encourage them to check for a microchip, which we always have up to date!
