One of the first challenges I had to face after adopting Luna was to figure out a way to slow her down when she tried to gobble up her breakfast and dinner. I tried a variety of different food dispensers, but they would either eventually break from all the use or Luna would learn them too well for it to be effective anymore.
One of the ways I get around this is by rotating through a few different food dispensing options, so I’m always excited to hear about new ones. Today’s giveaway sponsor is a brand new option that has only been available for a few months!

What I love is that the Rock ‘N Bowl is designed to look like a standard dog food bowl! The difference is that when food is poured into the top, holes allow the food to fall into a hidden compartment. Dogs then have to paw, nudge, and play with the Rock ‘N Bowl to have the food fall out through the three holes on the side.
Another important factor for me is that the Rock ‘N Bowl is made in the USA and free of phthalates and BPA. Plus it is dishwasher safe and can hold up to four cups of food!
Right now the Rock ‘N Bowl is available in two colors – blue or orange. It can be purchased from the PAW5 online store and costs $29.95.
My only complaint about the PAW5 Rock ‘N Bowl is that it’s a little too big for my dogs right now. The holes are a bit too big for smaller dog food pieces and since I only feed 1/2 cup at a time, we don’t have a lot of need for the four cup capacity. I hope they offer a smaller option in the future! However, if you have a larger dog I’m confident the Rock ‘N Bowl is a great option!
