Does your dog have a thing they do when they want attention? Luna certainly does. When she thinks she deserves a little extra attention, she will stop at nothing until she gets it.

She starts by standing in her attention spot and staring. When she sits there, you can feel her eyes burrowing into you.

If that doesn’t work and she wants to go outside or play, she will run around and prance from place to place. If she has her collar on, you can hear her jingle and jangle as she goes.

If she just wants to cuddle, she will touch you and keep touching you until you accept her advances. She will start by trying to claim you (aka standing on you). Then she will whip out all her tricks. Giving high fives (or face slaps), rolling over (onto your lap), and just aimlessly flailing.

If you are still neglecting her, she may then resort to whining and quiet squeaky howls.

If you are completely heartless and still haven’t given her all the attention she needs, she then starts taking her frustration out on a poor bystander. At this time, all innocent toys should vacate the premises immediately or else risk their lives.

I recently caught this little bit of mischief on camera just in time for this week’s 52 Snapshots of Life theme, Mischief.

Don’t forget to visit last week’s post on something PURPLE and come back next week to see where Luna wants to TRAVEL.
