Did you see it? Did you see the two runaway Llamas that broke the internet and took over every cable news station yesterday? SO MUCH LLAMA DRAMA!
I’ve been a Llama fan for as long as I can remember. That’s right I said it. I liked Llamas before Llamas were cool. And Alpacas and Camels and Guanacos. I don’t discriminate among my Camelids.
Llamas have a bad reputation because they spit when they are upset. Just think about the things people do when they are upset and in a stressful situation. Spitting doesn’t seem so bad anymore, huh?
I have had my fair share of Llama interactions and have never been spit on. I have however been sneezed on by a horse, bitten on the nose by a turkey, and chased by a goose. Everyone has their bad day.
Llamas are so beautiful and soft and sassy that someday I hope to have enough land to rescue one… or ten.
Plus, the word llama looks just like one laying down. See it?
In case you still don’t believe me, here is some proof:
Do you have a llama selfie? Didn’t think so.
I have Llamas, Llamas, Everywhere!
I’m fashionable with my Llama jewelry and Llama socks!
Not to mention my 20 other pairs of Llama socks or Llama scarf from Peru (not pictured).
I sport Llama sweaters and Llama shirts.
Even sweaters made of Alpaca wool (not pictured)!
I enjoy a glass of fine Llama wine.
I have Llama bags to hold all my Llama things.
My apartment is decorated with Llama art, Llama art, and more Llama art.
Plus a Llama themed book (not pictured)!
I have a Llama weather vane in my kitchen.
It matches my fancy Llama cutting board (not pictured).
My Llamas wear hats.
And finally I have a Llama best friend (I wish).
It would be quite a challenge to accumulate all this stuff after the Llamas made it big, so I can’t be lying!
