That’s right. Today is National Dog Day, so run on home and give your pup a little extra love today.
Here are some ideas on how to celebrate:
- Spend a little time outside together. Take a longer walk or even go throw the ball around.
- Make some extra special treats. Does your dog like Strawberry Banana or Blueberry Honey?
- Learn a new trick.
- Watch a dog themed TV show or movie while snuggled on the couch.
- Clean out raggedy old toys and replace them with fun new ones.
- Make sure your dog is up to date on all of their vaccines.
- Double check your dog’s microchip has the right contact information.
- Pamper your dog with a bath, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning, and brushing. Check those nails too!
- Recycle their old collar and buy a new, stylish one.
- Go on a trip even if it is only to the pet store.
