Recently, I’ve been seeing a lot of advertisements for probiotics and how they can benefit human health. So my interest was piqued when I learned about Fidobiotics, a probiotics for dogs, and jumped at the chance for Luna to give them a try.

Fidobiotics probiotics for dogs

What are probiotics?

Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that helps to maintain normacly in the intestines. These bacteria help to fight harmful bacteria and maintain a healthy digestive system. Probiotics are great preventative care for avoiding gastrointestinal issues and tummy troubles.

For humans, probiotics can be found in yogurt, dietary supplements, and more. Fidobiotics provides these same benefits for dogs and stands by the belief that preventative health practices can lead to a higher quality of life.

Why do dogs need them?

Sometimes it is hard to control what your dog eats. Whatever gets eaten must be digested and sometimes the result is not so pleasant or aromatic. Probiotics help dogs fight the bad stuff and lead a healthy, happy, and better smelling life.

Fidobiotics makes three different flavors and supplements, and to be honest these tasty and creative flavors definitely grabbed my attention.

If your dog has digestion issues, Cheeseburger Deluxe Good Guts may help you out. These probiotics are come in a dissolvable capsule and are recommended once a day. It’s a little tough to give directly to your dog, but you can easily add it to their food or kibble and add a bit of water.

Smelly breath? Why not have some Fried Chicken and Waffles Puppy Breath Crushers. You may be thinking: Chicken and Waffles? Yes, yes, and yes. These are small tablets that smell so good I want to eat them. These probiotics help freshen breath by neutralizing your dog’s stomach.

Furry balls of stress may be able to relax with a bit of help from Salmon Sushi Relaxin’ Rover. This probiotic is packed with a lot of benefits. Natural calming ingredients are paired with live cultures to help with better digestion. They may also help with inflammation reduction and support repair from aging.

Are they really worth it?

Probiotics in general can be a little pricey, so I wasn’t too surprised that Fidobiotics range from $17.99 – $39.99. However, I am a strong believer that preventative care can help you save in the future. If this can fit in your budget and if your dog exhibits any of these issues, Fidobiotics are defenitely worth the splurge… if not just to smell the Fried Chicken and Waffles.

Fidobiotics may also be worth it if your dog is suffering from an upset tummy from medications or anything else. In fact, that is just how Fidobiotics got its start.
