For the last few days I’ve been down in Orlando, FL attending the Global Pet Expo and I’ll have a wrap up of all the amazing pet products I found coming soon. For now, I’m proud and excited to announce that Beagles & Bargains celebrated our fourth blogging anniversary last week on March 15!

I started thinking about blogging back in February 2013 after recently adopting Luna in October 2012 and wanting to learn more about giving her the best life possible. I created Beagles & Bargains’ Twitter account to test the waters. After a month of interacting with other pet bloggers and pet lovers, I decided to go ahead and create the blog you see today!

It’s been an amazing ride and I’m looking forward to the future. I’ve already got big plans for this year! In April, I’ll be taking on the A to Z Blogging Challenge again this year under the theme of Surviving Pet Parenthood without Going Broke! Then in May and through the summer, I’ll be sharing a few more tips on camping with your dogs to follow up on my Beginner Camping with Dogs post.

But today we are celebrating with five fantastic giveaways and we won’t stop until Luna’s 5th birthday on Monday! To go along with the theme of 5 for Luna’s Birthday, I’m happy to have Five Star, a raw dog food brand, sponsor today’s giveaway.

Luna celebrates her 5th birthday

Five Star is a raw dog food brand that was created to give pet parents an easy way to feed their dogs a raw diet, so that they can enjoy from the benefits of feeding raw.

The Five Star diets are completely sourced and made in the USA with human grade ingredients. On top of all that, Five Star is one of the few raw food diets that are USDA certified, inspected, and approved.

Each recipe is formulated by a Ph.D. animal nutritionist to be a complete and balanced blend of meats, organs, finely ground fresh bones, fresh vegetables, and a patented vitamin/mineral mix.

Five Star raw dog food comes in five different flavors.

Five Star’s current recipes include Beef & Vegetable, Chicken & Vegetable, Chicken, Beef, & Vegetable, Turkey & Vegetable, and Duck & Vegetable.

Since we don’t feed raw on a regular basis, we tried out Five Star as a special meal and food topper, but both Ralph and Luna absolutely loved it! In fact, Luna was pretty uncooperative during our photo shoot because she just wanted to eat the whole chub of Five Star!

Luna couldn't wait to taste the Five Star raw dog food.

Five Star offers online ordering and automatic ordering, so you can receive the necessary amount of food for your dogs every two weeks. If you are interested in trying out Five Star, you may want to try their Trial Pack which includes 1 chub of each flavor for $12.99.

The food arrives frozen in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice to keep it nice and cold. It should be good for at least 48 hours, which I was thankful for since most of our packages get delivered to our leasing office instead of our front door.

Five Star raw dog food Trail Pack contains four chubs of food.

ONE lucky Beagles & Bargains reader will receive a Five Star Trial Pack!

USA residents are eligible to enter via the Rafflecopter below. Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, April 3, 2016. The winner will be notified via email within 48 hours of the giveaway closing and will have 48 hours to respond and claim his or her prize.
