Luna and I are excited to participate in the #UltimateBlogParty for the first time! Although I may not be a human mom, I am proud to be a pet parent to Luna the Bouncy Beagle.
Beagles and Bargains is my journey of learning how to be a pet parent for the first time to a two year old Beagle/Pug mix (Luna) who enjoys eating everything from peanut butter to Kindles. As a bargain hunter and food lover, I am always searching for ways to find a little extra cash flow (or toy and treat flow in Luna’s case) and time saving recipes. Beagles and Bargains was created out of two of my passions: animals and bargain hunting. My mom raised me to use coupons and look for other ways to save. My family also always had dogs and cats while growing up, so I always felt connected to animals and could not wait to adopt a dog of my own. As much as I love finding deals, Beagles and Bargains will not spam you will tons of coupons or deals. I only post bargains that I would buy or have already bought. Beagles and Bargains is all about doing what you love to do, so I only post about topics I am truly passionate about.
Beagles and Bargains is still starting up. Our first blog post was only posted on March 15, 2013: So I might have lied… Luna and I have been on Twitter a little longer (since February 14). A Valentine’s Day gift to us, I guess! Follow us @beaglesbargains.

Why is this a Feature Friday?
As a newbie to the blogging world, I have been so impressed and grateful with how helpful and supportive the blogging community has been. So far I have been interacting mostly with the pet blogging community via BlogPaws, but I am really excited to interact with a bigger community of bloggers (especially bloggers who have delicious recipes on their blogs).
I started blogging because my friend Becca of Rosey Rebecca made it sound awesome and I happened to have a highly entertaining Beagle mix. This is my shout out to the blogging community for being so great and my attempt to encourage someone out there who has been thinking about starting a blog. Do it for you, do it for your dog, do it for your kids. No matter why you want to start a blog, it will be fun, it will be rewarding, and you will interact will some really great people.
