This week’s 52 Snapshots of Life post is going to be super short because I’m enjoying my Thanksgiving Break in Puerto Escondido, Mexico! It is sunny and warm here, but the “high speed” internet is not very quick at all.
We arrived on Saturday after an overnight layover in Mexico City. It’s been quite the adjustment seeing all the dogs roaming the streets so freely, but I do have to say that they have much better manners than Luna does when food is involved!
Although I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather the last two days, I’ve been able to do a lot of one of my passions this week – taking photos. The beauty of beach town is unbelievable and I’m excited to share some of my photos with you once I get home (to faster internet).
One of the highlights of our trip so far has been my first time seeing the Pacific Ocean. Not only did I get to cross that off my bucket list, but I did it while releasing 3 baby sea turtles into the ocean. I named my little turtles Donatello, Sponch (a delicious snack we have found while here in Mexico), and Aeropuerto (Airport in Spanish) and will be sure to share those photos as soon as I can!
So in the meantime, here is a photo of me doing one of my passions. My boyfriend took this photo of me while on our trip to London a few years ago and it has been one of my favorites.
