My last blog post was a little whiney. I know. I’m sorry. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read the post and leave a comment. Your words meant so much and I am thrilled to have each and every one of you in my life.

I won’t be complaining in today’s post; I promise. Today we are celebrating.

Today we are celebrating Mothers.

Yes, Mother’s Day was over a week ago, but I don’t think celebrating moms and motherhood should be limited to just one Sunday in May. Moms dedicate so much to their loved ones that they deserve a thank you and a hug EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I had the privilege of spending this past weekend with my mom, my dad, my sister, four aunts, two uncles, and two cousins while attending my little sister’s big college graduation from William & Mary. It was wonderful being around so much family to celebrate my sister’s accomplishments and especially around my mother and the mother of others.

Over the weekend, I had the roll of photographer stalker so I could get a million photos of my sister and her friends on this special day. Because of that I was often behind the camera, so I don’t have a photo of me and my family. Instead here is a photo of my dad, sister, and mom right after Kate (that’s my sister) had her degree confirmed!

My parents and sister at her college graduation.

Being a mother means you care for, raise, and support another. Motherhood comes in all different shapes and sizes. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. should be celebrated.

Celebrate all Moms. Thank you Mother!

Mother’s can play multiple roles and they play them well. Mom. Step Mom. Dog Mom. Daughter. Sister. Aunt. Just like our friend Kimberly of Confessions of Rescue Mom does.

Mother's can serve many different roles. Step Mom, Dog Mom, and Daughter.

If you are a Mother, thank you for all that you do. Thank you for your passion and love. Here’s to you!

If you have a Mother in your life, let her know how thankful you are. Shower her with the same love she gave you. Don’t hold back.

Are you a Mother? Who are important Mother figures in your life?

This week’s 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge theme is MOTHER and this post is my submission. If you’d like to see more photos from our 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge, you can view them all over in my Flickr 52 Snapshots of Life photo album.
