One of my favorite things about this time of year is going home for the holidays. And for many people visiting family requires a bit of travel. If you are anything like me, then you know it isn’t a real family holiday without bringing your pups along.
So that means it’s time for a holiday road trip!!
As fun as road trips can be, they can also be a lot of work especially when you have a dog along for the ride. I know about this first hand since I have a dog who likes to move around non-stop in the back seat, pant like crazy, and then suddenly throw up. Sounds like fun, right?
Okay so maybe that isn’t very fun, but fortunately I have found two products from Sleepypod that help make our road trips a lot more enjoyable.

We’ve been using both these products for all our car travel ever since. The Clickit Sport helps to solve two of our road trip problems and keeps Luna safe. She can no longer move around all over the back seat since she is restrained with her harness. Since she isn’t moving as much, she is actually less nauseous, which means fewer messes to clean up!
Plus, the Clickit Sport Harness has been given a five star rating from the Center for Pet Safety, which means it will actually help keep your pet safe in the event of an accident or even a sudden stop.
The Yummy Bowls don’t exactly fix Luna’s panting which is caused by the stress of traveling, but they do help prevent dehydration as a result of it. The bowl is designed to be leak-free when it is sealed and the curved lip also helps prevent spills when it is opened. We love to fill it up and freeze the water inside that way it is cool and refreshing for Luna the entire trip!
