One of my most entertaining and enjoyable conversations I had at the Global Pet Expo in March was with Anthony Bennie, the co-founder of Clear Conscience Pet.
I was first introduced to the brand in a PetBox I reviewed a few months ago.
The conversation with Anthony took me from liking Clear Conscience Pet to becoming a super fan.
So what is it that won me over?
Clear Conscience Pet products are all natural, which means there are no artificial preservatives, flavors, colors, synthetic supplements or GMO ingredients. The products are made in the USA and are 100% guaranteed to please your furry friends.

But what does that really mean? There are an increasing number of products on the market that make those very same claims.

Oh and that’s another great thing. Clear Conscience Pet is 100% family-owned and is run by a husband and wife team who have over 20 years of experience with natural pet food.
In addition to a great mission, Clear Conscience Pet has a pretty good variety of treat options including soft treats, crunchy treats, chews, and even gravy to go over your dogs food.
Clear Conscience Pet Sliders are bite sized tender and meaty treats.
Sliders and Sliders TenderStikz were the first treats Luna tried when they came in our PetBox a few months ago. These treats are tender meat treats that are based on the cheeseburger. These treats are also the very reason I decided to stop by Clear Conscience Pet’s booth at the Global Pet Expo. Luna loved them, so I just had to learn more.
Sliders come in a 4 oz bag or as a 4-5 inch long individually wrapped TenderStikz in two different flavors, beef and cheddar or chicken and cheddar. These treats are able to be meaty and tender without using glycerin, but need to be refrigerated after opening. That really isn’t a downside though. Fresher is definitely better.
If you are worried about needing fridge space or finishing them off before the expiration date, don’t be. Your dog will make sure you need a refill in no time.

Clear Conscience Pet has also introduced Omega + SuperVeggie Nutri-encrusted (OSV™) treats. OSV™ is a coating for treats and chews that infuses flax and veggies, which introduces Omega 3 fatty acids and other nutrients that are beneficial for you best friend’s immune system.

Luna got her mouth on a Trachey Chew and probably too many Lamb Airy Bites for one sitting. She would have eaten them all if I hadn’t rudely interrupted her.
Note to self: Don’t try to have Luna pose with any Clear Conscience Pet treats before she has eaten breakfast. More eating will occur than photo taking.
I don’t think Luna minded the wait for breakfast in the end because it was covered in SuperGravy. SuperGravy is a natural pet food topper where you add the water instead of paying for it. Do I hear SAVINGS?!

We all know any way to save money is a win in my book, but I really love SuperGravy for another reason. Luna is a bit strange for a dog and doesn’t tend to drink water unless she absolutely needs it. Since we have already had one problem with her being dehydrated, I have started adding a bit of water to her food every day to ensure she gets the hydration she needs. Since I’m already adding the water, SuperGravy is a easy way to add a bit of flavor and nutrients to Luna’s dry food.
It probably doesn’t even need to be said, but Luna licks the bowl clean everytime.

Each bag of SuperGravy costs $12.95, which is about 30 meals or scoops (1.5 tsp). For smaller dogs, like Luna, you may be able to use less for the same flavor and hydration. We used half a scoop, so the number of meals doubled!

Peace Berry Cruncherz from Clear Conscience Pet.
Cruncherz are a grain and gluten free organic dog biscuit. These bone shaped treats are made with buckwheat (which is not a wheat!) flour instead of potato or rice flour.
Three varieties are available: Pumpkin Patch, Peace Berry, and Ginger Yaps. Each bag 11.5 oz bag costs only $9.95.
These treats too are Beagle Approved. I don’t know how many bones I had to replace just to get one good picture!
